In 2020, Douglas Horn, a truck driver employed by a logistics company, found himself at the center of a legal battle that would ultimately reach the U.S. Supreme Court. His ordeal began when he decided to try a CBD (cannabidiol) product called Dixie X, produced by Medical Marijuana Inc., which he believed to be completely free of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound in cannabis.
